Pegasus Hire to Retire Lifecycle
- Includes steps for Foundation Management, Job Requisition, Sourcing and Application, Screening and Interview, and Offer and Rejection.
- Also covers Onboarding, Crossboarding, Personnel Management, Benefits Management, and Time Management.

- Intended to summarize processes covered in Todays Training.
Onboarding
- Involves Initiate Onboarding via REC, Employee Profile Selection, Review New Hire Data, Complete Pre-onboarding Tasks, Complete New Hire Tasks, Final Review, Manage Pending Hires and Start Date Change.
Conduct Preboarding RACI
- The Responsibility/Accountability Matrix for Conduct Preboarding outlines process responsibilities.
- Steps include selecting employee profile for rehire, reviewing new hire data synced from Recruiting, completing HR tasks, and enquiring about start date changes.
- Also involves collecting personal data, changing the start date, completing tasks assigned to business, and ensuring Day 1 readiness.
Conduct Preboarding Process
- A high-level process for pre-boarding.
- Begins with initiating onboarding via REC and involves employee profile selection and new hire data review.
- Includes completing pre-onboarding tasks, completing new hire tasks, a final review, and managing pending hires.
- Addresses start date changes (if applicable) and the possibility of canceling onboarding.
Choose New Employment
- This task is assigned to the EMSS team only for rehire cases identified by the Pegasus platform.
- The pre-requisite is that the employee previously worked with HKJC, has an inactive profile in Employee Central field value as 'Yes'.
- If the new hire has the same First Name/ Last Name/ Date of Birth or National ID as the previously stored employee the system will identify the person as a rehire.
- Operator informs recruiter offline and cancels Onboarding if eligibility is marked as "no" in the employee profile selection step.
- Select rehire with new employment creates a new employee profile, retaining personnel information from the previous employee profile.
- If employees have multiple job records before leaving, EMSS should select the one with the latest Last Working Day for Rehire With New Employment.
- To access the Employee Profile Selection page, the process starts by accessing the To-Do list, and you must find the employee that is being hired, click on the “start” button.
Review New Hire Data
- It is a stage to overview data from the Recruitment module for the respective candidate relates to "Personal Information", "Job Information” and “Compensation Information".
- The EMSS team will review biographical information, personal information and employment information.
- The new hire data includes personal information, job details, and compensation.
- EMSS can either hide for 7 Days or Remind Me Tomorrow for the Review New Hire Data task of the new hire based on the actual situation.
- The reviewer can access the onboarding module from the main menu, and must click the data collection to review the new file Data step.
- Furthermore, is more accurate to check the target with the filter date for new hire manager or hiring manager using the onboarding dashboard.
- EMSS will see new hire information for a section such as personal, recruitment, and must tap “continue” until all is reviewed.
- To update information that is required for example, when updating a new email press “save draft” and cancel” to create new file details page.
Complete New Hire Tasks
- Onboarding tasks are allocated to the respective Onboarding process owner, and the owner has to complete all the tasks.
- The tasks can be accesses via the Home page tile names complete new recruit tasks.
- A direct manager will receive a required action email after EMSS has completed data reviewing.
Final Review
- EMSS receives email when new hire completes personal data, must then review and submitted.
- Emss can also receive request correction of personnel data.
Start Date Change
- Start date can be updated in different places, recruitment or in EC - once the Onboarding activities are completed.
- Emss manager to approve the requested change by the employee.
- It can be checked by home page searching the new hires name.
Cancel Onboarding
- It occurs when a new employee declines job, or an employee is no longer suited for the the opportunity.
- It needs to be cancelled in SuccessFactors.
Manage Day 1 Activities
- Pre-requisite: EMMS review and submits pre-onboarding process for the new hire.
- Direct Manager welcomes the employee by sending out email.
- The employee can then view onboarding from onboarding portals to supplemental employee profiles if anything went missing.
Manage first 180 days
- Requires managing Day 1 activities, and to completed training as assigned.
