Artisan Training Scheme in Pakistan Ordnance Factories
- 150 Artisan positions are available for Batch No. 56 (1st Phase) under the 'ARTISAN TRAINING SCHEME'.
- Selected candidates will undergo training in Pakistan Ordnance Factories Institute of Technology (POFIT), Wah Cantt.

Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Matric with Science (Minimum 2nd Division)
- 10% weightage will be given to FSc (with Physics & Math) and DAE pass candidates
- Age: 17 to 21 years as on 04-03-2024
- Duration of Training: 1-1/2 years
Payment of Stipend During Training
- 1st semester (06 months): 50% of BPS-5 (Rs. 7615/p.m)
- 2nd semester (06 months): 60% of BPS-5 (Rs. 9138/p.m)
- 3rd semester (06 months): 80% of BPS-5 (Rs. 12184/p.m)
Terms & Conditions
- Fresh Entrants will submit an affidavit on stamp paper valuing Rs. 100/- to complete their training satisfactorily
- Employment is not guaranteed after training, but successful apprentices may be absorbed in POFS subject to availability of seats
- Artisans will have to serve POFs, if job is offered to them, with an undertaking
Bond Deed
- Artisans will execute the prescribed bond to serve in POFS for a minimum period of 6 years after successful completion of their training
- In case of leaving, they will have to refund all the amount spent on their training including a penalty of Rs. 50,000/-
Accommodation
- Hostel accommodation will be provided to selected candidates on demand, upon availability on a first-come-first-served basis
Application Process
- Applications must be submitted online on the proforma available on the website www.pof.gov.pk latest by 04-03-2024
- Incomplete applications and results declared after the closing date will not be entertained
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview through SMS, and active Mobile Number (non-converted to any other network) should be mentioned on the application proforma
