Study Notes

OMVIC Certification Course

  • This is a mandatory course for all new Ontario automotive dealers and salespeople. This course was established in 1999 by OMVIC and Georgian College's Automotive Business School of Canada.
  • Students have 12 weeks to complete the course material and pass the certification test.
  • A minimum passing grade of 75% is required to complete the course.
  • The course material is divided into 18 chapters with review questions at the end of each chapter.

Student Manual

  • The manual is the 2024 edition.
  • Covers laws, regulations, and practices related to the automotive business in Ontario.

  • Contains learning objectives, summaries, definitions, and test questions at the end of each chapter.
