- They are not permitted to operate as only LEO when working bars/nightclubs with over 100 patrons.
Other Restrictions
- Officers in EDRO (Early Deferred Retirement Option) are ineligible for outside uniform employment
- Outside employment, (non-uniform) is prohibited in certain periods of time, like sick, military leave, etc
Overtime and Court Pay
- Expenses incurred during outside employment are the employee and/or their employer's responsibility
- Court appearances follow specific procedures and reporting requirements to be approved for overtime
On-Duty Officer Responsibilities
- Officers must contact 911 when a situation arises that requires intervention from on-duty OPD officers
