Ideating is a process of generating new ideas.

There are three methods for ideating: the dot voting method, the four categories method, and the now how wow method.

The dot voting method is a way to choose the favourite idea by placing dots near the favourite idea.

The four categories method is a way to divide ideas into 4 categories: 1) Most Rational, 2) Most Delightful, 3) Daring and 4) Long Shot.

The now how wow method is a grid of 2x2 ideas categorised on originality on its x-axis and ease of implementation on the y-axis. The non-original easy ideas are known as the now or blue ideas. The original difficult ideas are known as the how or yellow ideas. The original ideas which are not difficult are known as the wow ideas or green ideas.
