Army Service Corps Battalion
- Provides vehicles, supply, hygiene, chemical, and community kitchen services to its dependent units of Division Headquarters during peace and field service.
- Manned by two Mechanical Transport Companies, each with 120 ALS vehicles, and one Supply Company with four Compo Platoons.
- A & B Company are responsible for second-line transportation, including the ferrying of stores during relief moves or Annual Training Camps. Indents for transportation are required 72 hours before the move during peacetime.
- C Company is responsible for supplying items, Hygiene & Chemical materials, and communal kitchen services to its dependent units in both peacetime and field operations.
Military Engineering Services (MES)
- Responsible for handling and taking over vehicles, ammunition, explosives, mines, and other stores.
- Relief Move is the process of transitioning stores and equipment between units.
- Personnel weapons, vehicles, unit equipment, and tentage are generally carried with the unit during relief moves.
- Station/sector stores, loan/trail stores, rationalisation/aided/Army Commander Special Financial Power (ACSFP) stores, second-line ammunition, and war wastage reserves are generally not carried with the unit.
- Check List of Military Engineer Services buildings includes:
- Original barrack inventory signed by Military Engineer Services representative.
- Deficiencies noted on the inventory.
- Details of maintenance, minor, major, and special repair works.
- Charts of area of responsibility for maintenance.
- Details of accommodation, its use, and last vacation report.
Defence Land
- The handing over unit must provide a briefing on Defence Land and security measures to the Officer Commanding Advance Party.
- The unit taking over Defence Land should receive an updated album/register with the following details:
- Maps of the area signed by the Defence Estate Officer and Station Headquarter.
- Type of defence land.
- Total area of defence land with Khasra No.
- Number of Board Proceedings and their Grid Reference.
- Details of any encroachments.

Arboriculture
- Handing over documents include:
- A tree record register duly audited.
- Details of existing arboriculture in the station.
Station Fire Committee
- The Station Commander appoints a standing Station Fire Committee in every station.
- The committee acts in an advisory capacity on all matters relating to precautions against fire outbreaks.
- The committee comprises three officers, preferably an Engineer officer, an officer from the Army Service Corps, and a field officer from another unit.
- The committee's duties include:
- Recommending the fixation or revision of fire fighting equipment scales.
- Conducting bi-annual inspections of all units/establishments in the station.
- Ensuring adequate fire-fighting arrangements and serviceable fire-fighting equipment.
