- Word was originally created for Xenix systems in 1983 by Charles Simonyi and Richard Brodie.

Evolution of MS Word
- The early versions of Word created for Windows are Word 1.0/1.1/2.0/6.0.
- Subsequently, Word 95/97/98/2000/2002 and Office Word were released.
Understanding the Microsoft Word Environment

Managing Documents
