1- Understand different techniques to evaluate antimicrobial agents. 2- Understand the methods of sterilization and be able to carry out sterility testing. 3- Carry out sterility testing for sterile pharmaceutical products. 4- Understand the modes of action and resistance and the clinical uses of antibiotic antimicrobial agents. Carry out antibiotic susceptibility testing. 5- Understand different techniques to diagnose pathogens.

The goal of laboratory safety is to prevent injuries and diseases from occurring among students, scientists, laboratory staff, and the community.
