- Partnerships: National Health Laboratory Service, South African Blood Services, Lancet & Ampath, and KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health for practical experience.
- Clinical Practice: Two phases of hands-on experience (Clinical Laboratory Practice I & II) in Year 3 and 4, respectively.
- Duration: Minimum four-year program. Includes six months in Year 3 and twelve months in Year 4 in training labs.
