MDFR Employee Profile Responsibilities
- Employees must maintain accurate personal information on MDFRnet, which includes the correct spelling of first and last names, home and mailing addresses, contact numbers (cellular carrier included), and emergency contact details.
- Driver's license information must also be current in the Employee Profile.
- Any updates to personal information must be made via MDFRnet under Profile > Personal on the employee's next duty day after the change.
- For name changes or corrections, employees must directly contact the MDFR Benefits Coordinator.
- Personal information is strictly for official department use; it will not be shared or utilized for other purposes.
Communication and Access
- MDFR will utilize the contact information in the Employee Profile for official communication, including firewatch and overtime hiring notifications.
- Only Bureau Officers-In-Charge (OICs) and Managers have access to this contact information. Other personnel must request access through the MIT Division Manager with approval from their Division Chief/Manager or higher.
Bluebook Updates
- All Miami-Dade County employees are required to review and update their personal information in the Bluebook on eNet annually, no later than March 31.
- The Bluebook serves as an online directory of employee contact information for the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) and supports the Disaster Assistance Employee (DAE) program.
- Access to the Bluebook information is limited to authorized County employees.
- MDFR employees, classified as Department Essential personnel, must confirm they have reviewed and updated their Bluebook information annually.
