Transfer of kWh Meter Location
- Transfer of kWh meter location is strictly prohibited without prior approval from the Area Services Department (ASD) and the Billing and Meter Reading Section.
Meter Reading Requirements
- All kWh meters, regardless of status (disconnected, active, or no record), must be read every billing period.
- Failure to comply with meter reading requirements will result in disciplinary action.
New Connection and Membership Procedures
- New non-member applicants must attend a Pre-Membership Seminar and apply for membership.
- Applicants must provide a valid ID and sign the "Kontrata" for pending membership approval.
- Applicants need to submit an Electrical Plan containing:
- Name of Barangay Electrician
- Photo of Barangay Electrician
- Name of Contractor (if applicable)
- Contact Number of Applicant, Barangay Electrician, and Contractor
- GPS coordinates
- Pictures of the vicinity
- View of the possible location of the kWh meter
- Applicants must secure a copy of the Standard Operating Procedure and Standard design for installing kWh meters, service entrances, and other necessary designs from the District Supervisor.
- The CWDO prepares a Service Memorandum for Inspection with required documents and secures Special Operations Task Group (SOTG) Clearance.
- The SOTG Officer verifies applicant information and recommends SOTG Clearance for approval by the General Manager.
- The Housewiring Inspector or District Foreman conducts the inspection and prepares an Inspection Report, subject to Area Services Department Manager approval.
- If an application requires transformer recommendations, line extensions, or other specific requirements, the Inspection Report and its attachments must be submitted to the Corporate Planning Department (CPD).
