• Karsus transforms into the Bleeding Stone, trapped in a hell of self-creation
• Half-millennia later, Therseris makes a pact with Karsus in the Shadowfell
• Therseris returns to Faerûn as a Vengeance Paladin/Great Old One Warlock and a catalyst for the Spell Plague
• Karsus seeks resurrection, believing the war from Karsus' Folly is ongoing

Campaign Phases

• Prologue (A Fragile Peace): Factions are playing power games and Waterdeep is dealing with increasing hostilities
• Act I (The Chains that Bind): Manshoon's defeat leads to Therseris getting chained in time and space, causing the Spell Plague to encompass Waterdeep
• Act II (Past Revealed): The search finds them in the Northern Expanse, discovering more about Therseris past as well his ties to past civilizations.
• Act III (End Times): Therseris erodes reality, leading to the end game timelines, the fate of the timelines are decided by the choices of the characters.

Mechanics & Homebrew Additions

• Pact of The Bleeding Stone: PC drinks from the Karsestone and becomes a warlock in exchange for a number of different effects
• Fate Points System: Players earn points for heroic acts, influencing critical moments with inspiration-like options. The points must be declared before results, can't counter legendaries but cannot be countered the same way
• Divergent Timeline: When Sin is destroyed, the entity will create divergent timelines where character memories remain, all seeking attunement.

Prologue - Chapter I

• Fall 1492 DR: The party begins their adventure as part of a caravan escaping war when bandits ambush the caravan.
• The party is felled as a strange miasma envelopes them and one character survives
• Winter 1942 DR: Arimier wakes in a sparsely lit room noticing he has been unconscious for three months, and an adventure from the past and the night's events leads to kidnapping of a family member in the chapter

Verse IV - Verse VI

• The character Arimier attempts at restoring The Specter Spirits to an operational tavern in the city, finding it haunted.
• The Yawning Portal and members of opposing forces and a mindflayer causes the party to traverse the city and enter pockets of magic.
• A young Simic Hybrid joins the party, the adventure comes to an end.

Act I - Side Story: Arimier- Missives from Baldurs Gate and beyond.

• Political problems erupt between noble members of House Rillyn and the players have to figure out solutions.
• The players must deal with assassins, members whom betray them and the revelation of the history of the families.
• This all culminates with battles, both physically and spiritually, of being at war.

Side Story: Lysara - Prices Paid For

• Lysara is afflicted, both physically and mentally, where she starts losing herself with voices and the loss of her love.
