Intranet
- An intranet is a private enterprise network designed to support an organization's employees to communicate, collaborate, and perform their roles.

Ethernet vs Internet vs Intranet
- Ethernet is a collective term for technologies that allow for the interconnection of computers.

- Switch: handles multiple communications between the computers attached, provides one-to-one or one-to-many connections, and uses a MAC address table to send packets.
- Hub: handles one communication between the computers attached, provides one-to-many connections, and uses the interface of the device to send the packets.
