Study Notes
Starting Up the Injection Machine
- Turn the main switch to the "ON" position to switch on the chiller.
- Press the left-side bottom key on the display.
Powering On the Machine
- Turn the main switch to the "I" position or "ON".
- Press the reset key.
Initializing the Machine
- Press the key on the first control panel to switch on the pump motor.
- Switch on the chiller automatically and set the temperature to 50°C.
- Press the key on the first control panel to switch on the heating.
Uploading the TPO Program
- Select the option to upload the TPO program from the Compact Flash disk.
- Read in the complete program and select "Y" to confirm.
Preparing for Injection
- Check the cylinder temperature before proceeding.
- Clean the nozzle tip to ensure proper function.
Purging and Measuring
- Purge the system with a sample at least 3 times to ensure proper function.
- Measure the sample capacity to ensure accurate results.
Setting Up the Mold
- Use the injection unit to touch the mold for zero setting.
- Close the mold and ensure it reaches the position 0.00.
Running the First Cycle
- Close the mold after measuring the sample.
- Press the manual/auto key to switch to automatic mode (LED lights up).
- Open the safety door and immediately close it to start the first cycle.

- When the mold opens, open the safety door and remove the specimen.
- Approximately 20 pieces are needed for the process.
Changing Materials
- After preparing the necessary specimens, change the material.
Switching to Manual Mode
- Select "manual" mode (f042) and press the corresponding key.
- The nozzle will retract and stop.
