Standard Operating Guideline for Maintaining Compliance with H&S Bulletin Boards

Purpose: This guideline ensures Toronto Fire Services (TFS) supervisors maintain health and safety bulletin boards in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).

Responsibility: All TFS supervisors are responsible for ensuring bulletin boards are up-to-date and compliant with OHSA.
Guidelines

General Requirements (1.1): Bulletin boards must display specific documents, as outlined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA):
- Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act (OH&SA)
- City's Occupational Health & Safety Policy (current year)
- City of Toronto Violence in the Workplace Policy (current year)
- City of Toronto Workplace Human Rights and Anti-Harassment Policy (current year)
- JHSC membership listing (names, contact info, co-chairs, certified members, work locations) (current year)
- WSIB Form 82 poster ("In Case of Injury at Work")
- Ministry of Labour poster, "Health and Safety at Work: Prevention Starts Here"
- Ministry of Labour orders/reports (posted for 30 days post order/report)
- Notice of compliance with MLITSD orders (posted for 14 days)
