Haj Application Form (HAF) can be filled and submitted online at hajcommittee.gov.in or through Android or iPhone Mobile App “HAJ SUVIDHA” from 13th August 2024 to 9th September 2024.

Important Instructions

Guidelines for Haj 2025

All Indian citizens physically and financially capable can apply for Haj 2025 subject to criteria in guidelines and KSA guidelines/instructions
KSA can cancel or partially cancel Haj based on prevailing conditions
Pilgrims are responsible for any changes in eligibility criteria and financial obligations resulting from KSA decisions.
Expenditure will be finalized after services are hired in India and Saudi Arabia.
Pilgrims must validate eligibility conditions and means.

General Information

Haj Committee of India (HCol) makes arrangements for Haj pilgrims in coordination with stakeholders.
The Consulate General of India in Jeddah (CGI) handles pilgrim arrangements and grievance redressal in Jeddah/Madinah.

Once in a Lifetime Haj

Haj can be performed through HCoI only once in a lifetime.
Pilgrims aged 65 and above and LWMs must be accompanied.

Eligibility for Haj

Muslims who are physically and financially capable to perform Haj.
Should be physically, behaviorally and mentally fit as per Saudi guidelines.
Must possess a valid Indian International Passport issued before closing date, valid for at least 15 January 2026.

Haj Application Procedures

Pilgrims must provide a machine-readable passport.
Submitting Hajj Application Form (HAF) online following guidelines.
All documents must be submitted within one week of Qurrah.
Pilgrims should use an appropriate mobile device/number for communication with HCol.
Aadhaar Card is not mandatory

How to Apply

Download guidelines for Haj-2025 from the website www.hajcommittee.gov.in or use the mobile app “HAJ SUVIDHA APP”.
Complete the Hajj Application Form (HAF) online.
Upload required documents (passport, photograph, bank details, etc.) with HAF.

Qurrah/Randomised Digital Selection

A computerized draw of lots conducted by HCol if there are more applications than the quota.

Order of Priority for Confirmation of Seats

Category-1: Pilgrims 65+ and those with benchmark disabilities, and LWMs aged 65+
Category-2: Ladies without mehram below 65 and
Category-3: General Category.

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellations can be on the grounds of death or medical emergencies.
Penalties apply for other cancellation reasons.
Refunds should be expected within one month of cancellation request.
Some cancellation fees are applicable.

Accommodation

Pilgrims are accommodated in separate rooms (male/female) in compliance with KSA regulations.
Accommodation must be pre-booked in Saudi Arabia according to KSA regulations.
Accommodation in Makkah and Madinah will be allocated based on availability.
Accommodation in Mina will be based on tent and space availability.

Rubat Accommodation

Pilgrims entitled to stay in Rubat will be accommodated in Rubat, subject to KSA norms.
If there are any extra charges, it will be refunded.

Sim Cards

HCol is not responsible for SIM Card arrangements for pilgrims.

Change of Accommodation

Requested changes are not permissible due to the high demand.

Qurbani/Adahi

Qurbani is permitted through entities authorized by KSA.
Pilgrims should not do business related to Qurbani.
Due dates for Qurbani payment must be adhered to.

Medical Screening and Fitness Certificate

Medical check-ups of all candidates are mandatory before embarking.
Candidates should be examined by government medical officials.

Oral Polio Vaccination

Mandatory vaccination for all Haj pilgrims.

Embarkation Point

20 embarkation points are allotted. Pilgrims should give their preference list of points.
No changes are permitted after E-booking confirmation.

Flights

All pilgrims are to be in the same flight within the available capacity and adjacent districts.
No change is permitted after e-booking.
No exchange between airlines

Commencement of Flights

Tentative dates for the start of Haj air charter flights from 29/04/2025 up to 30/05/2025.
Return flight to commence from approximately 11/06/2025 to 10/07/2025.
Pilgrims must attend the designated airport 8 hours before their scheduled flight departure time.

Duration Stay

Duration of stay in KSA can be up to 40-45 days.

State Haj Inspector (SHI)

Designated officials from each Indian state to support pilgrims in Jeddah.

Persons with Special Needs

Persons with disabilities must be accompanied by an able-bodied companion.

Baggage

Only one hand / cabin bag is permitted.
Specific sizes and weight limits must be adhered to
Prohibited items like kerosene and other hazardous items are disallowed.

Lost Baggage Claim Procedure

Pilgrims should get a bag tag from the airline.
If baggage is lost, pilgrims should contact airline authorities.
Last date for registration of a claim is 10/09/2025.
