Towing Procedures

During business hours:
- Contact Communication Center and Fleet Maintenance for mechanical issues
- Notify Apparatus Technician for assessment
After hours/weekends:
- Contact Communication Center to alert On Call Technician
Mechanic assesses vehicle's road worthiness or towing necessity

Types of Towing

Aerials, Special Operations units, Tenders, Brush Trucks, Fire Engines: use landoll style tow vehicles
All other vehicles: use conventional tow trucks, landoll, or low boy vehicles

Mired Vehicle Procedures
