Fire safety inspections are a prerequisite for local government and agency permits and licenses.
No occupancy, business, or operational permits are issued without a Fire Safety Inspection Certificate (FSIC) from the City/Municipal Fire Marshal with jurisdiction.
City/Municipal Fire Marshals review, evaluate, and assess building plans, design calculations, and specifications.
They issue Building Fire Safety Evaluation Clearance (FSEC) only if plans meet Fire Code guidelines.
