Technology can play both positive and negative roles here; it might offer ways to overcome challenges and improve living conditions through innovative solutions, yet it could also exacerbate already existing problems if used irresponsibly.

Technological advancements often present us with new moral questions because they enable things previously considered impossible—for example, genetic manipulation or time travel. These raise deep philosophical issues over what constitutes life, death, selfhood, free will, etc..
