Explanation: This text type describes how or why things happen. Includes the topic, details about the topic, how the details are connected and provides a conclusion. Usually written in present tense.

Enumeration: Lists the kinds, parts, characteristics, types of something. Uses transition words (e.g., first, second, third...). This text type is used to clarify topics and show various elements as a group.

Time Order: Shows the sequence of events or procedures. Uses transition or signal words like first, second, third, next, then, etc to show the chronological order. This text type is often used to show how something is done or how an event unfolds.
