    •  This lesson focuses on writing a concept paper.
    •  The learning objective is determining how writers clarify concepts.
    •  The lesson covers three methods for elucidating or explaining concepts: definition, explication, and clarification.
    •  A concept paper includes an overview of the project or research, initial project or research proposal, feedback from institutions/agencies, basis of proposal approval, and an explanation of the concept.
    •  A concept is conceived in the mind as an idea (abstract) or principle and needs to be clarified.
    •  Concepts can be explained through definitions (mental image, characteristics, meaning, formal and informal definitions).
    •  Concepts can also be explained through explication (terms, phrases, passages, other literary or academic works about the concept).
    •  Concepts can also be explained through clarification (real and actual examples).
    •  This information can also relate to election campaign context.
    •  An audio-visual presentation (AVP) is to be watched twice for effective learning.
    •  A series of questions regarding media convergence are provided to better understand the concept in further detail; such as defining, explaining, and improving concept explanation.
