Employment Contract: Founding Engineer

Employment Contract Details

• The employment contract is between Version Zero Limited (the Employer) and Cameron Millen (the Employee).
• The Employee will be employed as a Founding Engineer.

Job Title and Duties

• The Employee's responsibilities include leading the development and implementation of mobile applications.
• The Employee will design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• The Employee will establish software development protocols, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing.
• The Employee will ensure scalability and security of all software and infrastructure components.

Work Hours and Overtime

• The Employee's standard work hours will be from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
• The Employee may be required to work beyond standard hours to fulfill their duties.
• The Employee is expected to manage their time effectively and maintain a consistent level of performance.

Travel

• The Employee may be expected to travel within the UK and abroad for business purposes.
• Travel may be essential for attending meetings, client engagements, or managing remote teams.

Agreement Details

• The Employee will work remotely.
• The Employee is entitled to 25 days of annual holiday per calendar year and 8 bank holidays.
• The Employee is entitled to sick pay as per the company's policy.
• The Employee can carry over 10 days of unused holiday to the next year, to be used before March 31st.
• The holiday and sickness year is from January 1st to December 31st.
• The Employee's start date is January 1st, 2024.
• The Employee has a 90-day probation period.
• The Employee's notice period is 3 months.
• The Employee's employment status is permanent and full-time.
• The Employee must provide proof of their legal right to work in the UK.
