- Duty Reporting: Report for duty timely in prescribed uniform plus ID card.
- Commercial Rules Awareness: Be knowledgeable about refund rules, journey ticket rules, break journey rules, ticket endorsements, etc.
- Passenger Grievances: Keep abreast of train status and promptly address passenger complaints/queries.
- Passenger Assistance: Provide assistance per guidelines, monitor complaints, and provide wheelchairs/stretchers when needed.
- Complaint Book: Monitor and analyze complaint book entries.
- Shift Diary: Maintain a shift diary listing performed tasks.
- Passenger Amenities: Monitor water facilities, waiting rooms, retiring rooms, announcement systems, coach guidance, signage, lifts, Divyangjan amenities, and other passenger facilities.
