- The Association is known as UNION ESPIRITISTA CRISTIANA DE FILIPINAS, INC.
Domicile
- The Association's domicile is the New General Center at Sitio San Jose, Barangay Cut-cut I, Capas, Tarlac, Republic of the Philippines.
- The Domicile can be any place deemed proper and convenient by the majority of members in a General Assembly.
Lemma, Doctrine and Motto
- The Lemma is: "Hacia Dios Por La Ciencia Y El Amor” (Towards God through Science and Love).
- The Doctrine is: "Sin Caridad No Hay Salvacion Posible” (Without Charity there is no Salvation).
- The Motto is: “Uno Para Todos, Todos Para Uno" (One for All, All for One).
Aims of the Association
- To propagate evangelical morality and faith in God within Spiritual Science.
- To instill the knowledge and belief that all men are spiritual brothers under God.
- To help the destitute find the light toward moral and spiritual progress.
- To advocate "A drop of affection is better than a glass of coercion."
- To uplift ailing humanity.
- To promote social and spiritual progress for peace, brotherhood, and justice.
- To foster moral and spiritual culture by promoting self-knowledge and kindness.
- To spread liberty, equality, and fraternity without discrimination.
- To promote the Association as non-stock, non-sectarian, non-political, but spiritual/religious.
- To establish centers, schools, healing centers, asylums, libraries, and cooperatives.
- To own property for centers and facilities for the Union's betterment.
Members and Dues
- Membership is open to individuals interested in Christian Spiritism who accept the guidance of the Holy Spirit and Ministering Spirits.
- Applicants must sign a form in quadruplicate, pay a membership fee set by the Board of Directors General, and agree to the principles of Spiritism
Affiliating a New Center
- New centers need a minimum of 20 new member applicants.
- Approval from Area/City/District and National Executive Committees is required, as is approval from Board of Directors General.
- Centers must have their own site and building acquired through purchase, donation, or usufruct without limitations.
- Leased sites must be leased for at least 25 years.
- Foreign-based chapters need a registration permit or its equivalent from their government or the Philippine Embassy.
- An annual affiliation fee and other fees determined by the Board of Directors General must be paid to the Treasurer General.
- New centers in plain areas must be more than 5 kilometers from any already affiliated center, with exceptions in cities (less than 0.5 kilometers) or mountainous areas where the Board determines the distance.
- New local/foreign centers must be endorsed by the Area/City/District Committee and approved by the Board of Directors General
- Foreign-based chapters must have seven (7) member-center/groups to be recognized as a Foreign Chapter
- The Foreign-based Center/group and Chapter are under the direct supervision of the National Executive Committee.
Duties and Responsibilities of Officers and Members
- Acceptance of position, voting, and being voted for without compensation.
- Cooperation in emergencies and charity.
- Being careful, serious, honest, sincere, decisive, kind, and law-abiding.
- Payment of membership fees, annual dues, and other monetary obligations.
- Promptness in rendering good to others.
- Compliance with duties, By-Laws, internal rules, regulations, and directives.
- Treating each other as brothers and sisters ("Hermano and Hermana").
- Disseminating Christian Spiritism under the Union Espiritista Cristiana de Filipinas, Inc.
Voluntary Contributions and Donations
- Contributions for Local, Area/City/District, Foreign Chapter, and General Centers concerning properties and other rights must be accepted by officers with written authority from the Board of Directors General.
Executive Officers
- The Association's Executive Officers consist of six members.
- The six members are the President General, Vice-President General, Secretary General, Treasurer General, Auditor General, and Press Relations Officer General.
- The Directors General elect all officers.
- As well as the 6 members are all 29 officers that shall also be on the Board of Directors General of the Association without material remunerations.
- A Director General for Mediums, two Legal Officers/Advisers and other officers may be appointed by the Board of Directors General and consider it proper and necessary.
- The members of the Board of Directors General elect the Executive Officers from among themselves.
Term of Office
- The term of Executive Officers, whether elective or appointive, begins immediately after their appointment.
- Each officer’s term is one year or until a successor is elected, appointed, and qualified.
- Mid-term vacancies are filled by "Ad Interim Appointment" by the Board of Directors General.
President General's Duties
- Representing the Association in undertakings.
- Supervising and controlling all activities and negotiations.
- Presiding over anniversaries, meetings, and assemblies and executing resolutions and directives.
- Signing titles, appointments, identification cards, and certificates.
- Signing checks and withdrawals with the Treasurer General.
- Executing and implementing By-Laws, rules, regulations, orders, resolutions, and directives.
Vice-President General's Duties
- Shall be the Chairman of the Board
- Presiding over Meetings of the Board of Directors General
- Assuming the duties of the President General in the President's absence, sickness, or incapacity.
- Automatically becoming the President General upon the President General's resignation or death until a new President General is qualified.
- Ensuring provisions of By-Laws, internal rules, and resolutions are efficiently executed.
- The most senior Director General shall assume the Chairmanship of the Board during the Board Meeting if Vice-President General is now President General.
Secretary General's Duties
- Preparing and signing minutes of the Board of Directors General meetings with the Chairman.
- Sending meeting notices to all Board of Directors General members.
- Managing correspondence, the library, the archives, and the general census.
- Signing Certificates of Affiliation (COA) with the President General and communicating with Local Presidents.
- Participating and voting in meetings and calling attention to deviations from standard procedures.
- Providing Directors General with copies of meeting minutes.
- Maintaining a record of Marriage Counselors, Officials and Marriage Certificates, Baptismal and Death Certificates approved by Local Presidents approved by the Area/City and District Committees
- Keeping records of all Union Espiritista Cristiana de Filipinas, Inc.'s Officials, registered mediums, medium healers submitted by the Local Presidents endorsed by Area/City and District Committees
Treasurer General's Duties
- Safeguarding Association Funds
- Keeping a depository bank account in the Association name
- Maintain a petty cash fund approved by the Board of Directors General
- Answering for any loss or properties of the Association
- Keeping an inventory of such properties of the Union Espiritista Cristiana de Filipinas, Inc
- Signing with the President General or the Vice President General who are jointly authorized to withdraw
- Keeping Books of Accounts Open for Inspection
- Available upon written request and with no less than seven (7) members duly affiliated with Centers(s)
- Issuing Receipts
