Members and Dues

Affiliating a New Center

  • New centers need a minimum of 20 new member applicants.
  • Approval from Area/City/District and National Executive Committees is required, as is approval from Board of Directors General.
  • Centers must have their own site and building acquired through purchase, donation, or usufruct without limitations.
  • Leased sites must be leased for at least 25 years.
  • Foreign-based chapters need a registration permit or its equivalent from their government or the Philippine Embassy.
  • An annual affiliation fee and other fees determined by the Board of Directors General must be paid to the Treasurer General.
  • New centers in plain areas must be more than 5 kilometers from any already affiliated center, with exceptions in cities (less than 0.5 kilometers) or mountainous areas where the Board determines the distance.

  • Foreign-based chapters must have seven (7) member-center/groups to be recognized as a Foreign Chapter

Executive Officers

  • The Association's Executive Officers consist of six members.
  • The six members are the President General, Vice-President General, Secretary General, Treasurer General, Auditor General, and Press Relations Officer General.
  • The Directors General elect all officers.
  • As well as the 6 members are all 29 officers that shall also be on the Board of Directors General of the Association without material remunerations.
  • A Director General for Mediums, two Legal Officers/Advisers and other officers may be appointed by the Board of Directors General and consider it proper and necessary.
  • The members of the Board of Directors General elect the Executive Officers from among themselves.

Term of Office

  • The term of Executive Officers, whether elective or appointive, begins immediately after their appointment.

President General's Duties

  • Ensuring provisions of By-Laws, internal rules, and resolutions are efficiently executed.
  • The most senior Director General shall assume the Chairmanship of the Board during the Board Meeting if Vice-President General is now President General.

Secretary General's Duties

  • Preparing and signing minutes of the Board of Directors General meetings with the Chairman.
  • Sending meeting notices to all Board of Directors General members.
  • Managing correspondence, the library, the archives, and the general census.
  • Signing Certificates of Affiliation (COA) with the President General and communicating with Local Presidents.
  • Participating and voting in meetings and calling attention to deviations from standard procedures.
  • Providing Directors General with copies of meeting minutes.
  • Maintaining a record of Marriage Counselors, Officials and Marriage Certificates, Baptismal and Death Certificates approved by Local Presidents approved by the Area/City and District Committees

Treasurer General's Duties
