- Glide: begins between mid-open and mid-close positions, moving towards /u/ above mid-close position
- Jaw: slight closing movement of lower jaw
- Lips: neutral for 1st element, 2nd element lips tend to round
- Starting point: tongue position similar to /3:/
Diphthong /au/
- Glide: begins between back and front open position, moving towards vowel /u/ above close-mid position
- Lips: change from neutrally open to a weakly rounded position
- Jaw: closing movement
- Long: loud, Reduced: shout
- Pulmonic, voiced, oral, wide, falling, closing

- Glide: begins in open-mid front position, moving towards more open variety of /a/ when in final position
