Maxillary Central Incisor
- Has a square or rectangular appearance
- Mesial outline is straight, while distal outline is rounded
- Mesio-incisal angle is sharp, and disto-incisal angle is rounded
- Mesial outline is slightly convex with a crest of curvature near the mesio-incisal angle
Incisal Aspect
- Lingual portion of the incisal ridge is present
- A shallow concavity called the "lingual fossa" is present between the incisal ridge, marginal ridges, and cingulum
- Lingual fossa usually has developmental grooves
