Cranial Nerves
- I (Olfactory): Sensory, smell
- II (Optic): Sensory, vision
- III (Oculomotor): Motor, most eye muscles (including superior oblique)
- IV (Trochlear): Motor, superior oblique eye muscle
- V (Trigeminal): Mixed, sensory to most of head, motor to muscles of face
- VI (Abducens): Motor, lateral rectus eye muscle
- VII (Facial): Mixed, motor to muscles of face, taste
- VIII (Vestibulocochlear): Sensory, equilibrium and hearing
- IX (Glossopharyngeal): Mixed, general taste sensation of tongue, pharynx, motor to one muscle of pharynx
- X (Vagus): Mixed, sensory + motor to gastrointestinal and respiratory systems, assists other nerves in the neck
- XI (Accessory): Motor, to two neck muscles
- XII (Hypoglossal): Motor, tongue muscle
