Fundamental Rights
- The State shall not discriminate against its citizens on grounds of gender, caste, race, class, or geographic region.
- Special provisions may be made for the protection, empowerment, and development of socially or culturally backward women, Dalits, indigenous people, and other marginalized groups.
Equality and Non-Discrimination
- There shall be no discrimination on grounds of gender with regard to remuneration and social security for the same work.
- All offspring have equal right to ancestral property without discrimination on grounds of gender.
Right to Communication
- No publication or broadcasting of news items, editorials, features, or other materials shall be censored.
- Citizens have the right of access to clean drinking water and sanitation.
Right to Food and Housing
- Every citizen has the right to food and food sovereignty in accordance with law.
