- The identity of the country's citizens in the constitution would no longer be 'Bangali'; instead, it would be 'Bangladeshi'.
- Nationalism, socialism, democracy, and secularism would be replaced by equality, human dignity, social justice, pluralism, and democracy as new core principles.
- The terms for the government, parliament, and president would be 5 years.
- The parliament would be bicameral, with a total of 300 seats, of which 100 seats would be reserved for women.
- The same person could not hold the position of President and Prime Minister for more than two terms.
