Chain of Command and Delegation of Authority
- The Battalion Chief must be notified of special responsibilities given to personnel.
- In emergency scenes, the chain of command may be broken, but orders must not be ignored.
- If given multiple orders, inform the second officer of the previous order, and they may permit carrying out their order.
