Cabin Crew Manager Duties and Responsibilities
- The Cabin Crew Manager is appointed by the Accountable Manager.
- Criteria: Must hold a valid type training on at least one specific type, 3 years' experience as a SCCM and 1 year as cabin INS, and have taken an OPS training course.
- Responsible for management, supervision, and coordination of the Cabin Crew Department and all cabin operations activities.
- Ensures that cabin crew members undergo required training courses and evaluations.
- Ensures continuity of training process.
- Keeps cabin crew members familiar with and compliant to company procedures.
- Works with the Flight Operation Manager to establish procedures regarding cabin crew, passenger service, abnormal and emergency procedures, for the safety and security of the cabin, passengers and crew.
- Establishes pre-requisites relevant to cabin crew employment / upgrading in cooperation with Flight Operation Manager, Crew Planning Department and Human Resources.
- Liaises with regulatory authorities and external entities.
- Ensures personnel vacations are taken on time.
- Follows publications and revisions from TM CAD. Prepares and revises CCOM and Cabin Announcement Book.
- Determines personnel needs (uniforms, etc.). Organizes for missing items.
- Cooperates in improving technical installations in the cabin (passenger safety and comfort) and improving onboard services.
- Assesses passenger complaints / comments, organizes Cabin Crew meetings, and informs about operational changes, procedure revisions, and relevant information.
- Prepares and revises cabin crew man-hour plan and takes on emergency response duties as outlined in the company Emergency Response Plan.
- Performs Safety Management System Duties, including Safety meetings, safety-related situations, reviews safety indicators, evaluates safety reports, and attends Cabin SAG meetings
- Follows the SMS Manual.
Cabin Instructors Duties and Responsibilities
- Check Examiners are selected by the Cabin Crew Manager, Flight Operations Post Holder and Cabin Training Chief.
- They report to the Cabin Crew Manager.
- They attend familiarization and line check flights as the SCCM.
- They attend flights as a Check Examiner to conduct line checks for CCM and SCCM candidates who have completed Familiarization Flights.
- They are authorized to perform planned and unplanned checks before, during, and after flights and during lay-overs, when required.
- They monitor cabin crew performances during flights and present reports as needed.
- They attend meetings and act as a leader to maintain team spirit from cabin crew members.
- They perform office duties as needed.

Cabin Crew Checks and Evaluation

Number and Composition of Crew
- One cabin crew member is assigned for every 50 passenger seats.

- Non-revenue flights have a minimum crew of 2 flight deck crew and 1 cabin crew member or technician or engineer.
- Additional cabin crew members are required for scheduling, experience, and operations.

- Minimum Requirements: 1 year experience, valid Attestation & Type Qualification, successfully passed ground / flight evaluation, speaks English (B1 or higher), and completes a senior cabin crew training course.
- Selection: Applications are reviewed, a short-list of eligible candidates are formed, and eligible candidates undergo a preselection exam for vocational/technical knowledge with a minimum passing grade of 80%, and an English exam.
- The selected candidates complete training and a check, before being assigned.
- Refer to CCTM for further ground and flight training.
- The SCCM is responsible for the conduct and coordination of, and safety-related duties, according to the operations manual.

- Minimum Requirements: Must be 18 years or older, with a high school certificate or equivalent, fluent in English, and pass medical and other relevant examinations.
- Duties include: Communicating with passengers, ensuring passenger comfort and safety, following company procedures, performing prescribed emergency duties, observing potential problems and conditions, and reporting immediately to superiors or management.
