SBU's and their Purpose
- An SBU is a fully functional unit of a business that has its own vision and direction, and reports to the parent company headquarters.
- Each SBU can be held responsible for the success or failure of its own competitive strategy, encouraging accountability.
- The key purpose of an SBU is to achieve a competitive advantage above that of its competitors by creating value for its users.
Generic Business Strategies
