Covered Family Members
- Immediate family (5 days): Parents, children, spouses (including domestic partners).
- Other immediate family (3 days): Siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, aunts/uncles, household members.
Special Circumstances
- Non-traditional relationships (1-5 days): Friends, neighbors, extended family members.
- Requires a Special Circumstance Bereavement request to HR.
- Paid leave amount depends on the relationship and HR approval.
- Other options: FTO leave or leave without pay.
Documentation Requirements
- Documentation of the passing and relationship is required within one week of taking leave.
- Failure to provide documentation results in leave being applied to FTO balance.
