Basic Human Needs
- Basic human needs are essential for survival, encompassing physical and non-physical elements.
- These needs are categorized into two broad groups: primary and secondary needs.
- The primary needs are physiological and psychological needs. These are also known as deficiency needs.

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs
- Often displayed as a pyramid.
- The most basic needs are at the bottom, and the needs for self-actualization are at the top.
- Basic needs must be met before higher levels of needs are pursued.
