Parts of Speech

Nouns: words that refer to people, places, things, and ideas

Sentence Structure

Independent clauses: complete sentences with a subject and verb
Dependent clauses: clauses that cannot stand alone as a complete sentence
Phrases: groups of words that function as a unit in a sentence
Clauses: groups of words containing a subject and predicate

Tense and Aspect

Present tense: describes an action happening now
Past tense: describes an action that happened in the past
Future tense: describes an action that will happen in the future
Perfect aspect: describes an action that started in the past and continues up to the present
Progressive aspect: describes an action that is ongoing

Voice

Active and Passive Voice

Active voice: the subject performs the action (e.g., "The dog bites the man")
Passive voice: the subject receives the action (e.g., "The man was bitten by the dog")

Characteristics of Passive Voice

Often used to emphasize the recipient of the action
Can make writing seem more formal or objective
Can make it unclear who is performing the action

কথার অংশ

সর্বনাম: মানুষ, স্থান, জিনিস, ও ধারণাকে বোঝায়
ক্রিয়া: ক্রিয়া বা অবস্থাকে বোঝায়
বিশেষণ: সর্বনাম বা সর্বনামকে বর্ণনা করে
ক্রিয়াবিশেষণ: ক্রিয়া, বিশেষণ, বা অন্য ক্রিয়াবিশেষণকে বর্ণনা করে
সর্বনামক: সর্বনামের পরিবর্তে বাক্যে ব্যবহার করা হয়
সম্বন্ধক: সর্বনাম বা সর্বনামকের মধ্যে সম্বন্ধ দেখায়
সংযোজক: শব্দ, বাক্য, বা ক্লজকে সংযুক্ত করে
আহ্বান: আবেগ বা অনুভূতিকে বোঝায়

বাক্য গঠন

স্বাধীন ক্লজ: সর্বনাম ও ক্রিয়া সম্বলিত সম্পূর্ণ বাক্য
অস্বাধীন ক্লজ: স্বাধীন বাক্য হিসেবে দাঁড়াতে পারে না
বাক্যাংশ: বাক্যের একক হিসেবে কাজ করে
ক্লজ: সর্বনাম ও প্রদত্ত সম্বলিত বাক্য

কাল ও দিক

বর্তমান কাল: বর্তমানে ঘটছে এমন ক্রিয়াকে বোঝায়
অতীত কাল: অতীতে ঘটেছে এমন ক্রিয়াকে বোঝায়
ভবিষ্যৎ কাল: ভবিষ্যতে ঘটবে এমন ক্রিয়াকে বোঝায়
সম্পূর্ণ দিক: অতীতে শুরু হয়ে বর্তমান পর্যন্ত চলছে এমন ক্রিয়াকে বোঝায়
চলতি দিক: ঘটছে এমন ক্রিয়াকে বোঝায়

কণা

সক্রিয় ও নিরপেক্ষ কণা

সক্রিয় কণা: সর্বনাম ক্রিয়া করে (যেমন, "কুকুর মানুষকে কামড়ে")
নিরপেক্ষ কণা: সর্বনাম ক্রিয়া ভোগ করে (যেমন, "মানুষ কুকুর দ্বারা কামড়ে")

নিরপেক্ষ কণার বৈশিষ্ট্য

প্রাপক ক্রিয়ার উপর জোর দেয়
লিখনে আকর্ষণীয় ও নিরপেক্ষ রূপ দেয়
ক্রিয়া করা ব্যক্তি এবং কর্তাকে অস্পষ্ট করে
