Australian Consumer Law and Contractual Terms

The purpose of the Australian Consumer Law is to protect consumers and promote fair trading in Australia.

The Australian Consumer Law came into effect on 1 January 2011.

The Australian Consumer Law replaced the Trade Practices Act 1974.
