Claim Inspection Timelines

Inspections and estimates must be uploaded in XM8 within 4 calendar days from claim receipt.
Preliminary estimates must be uploaded on the same calendar day if a final estimate cannot be completed.

Roof Replacement Threshold

The threshold for slope/total roof replacement is set at 25%, referred to as the 25% rule.
Adjusters may make judgment calls, but anything above 50% typically necessitates a total replacement.

Coverage for Other Structures

Generally, Other Structures are covered at Actual Cash Value (ACV).
Replacement Cost Value (RCV) coverage is warranted if:
- The other structure is highly valuable.
- The dwelling limit exceeds $500,000.
- The structure is a total loss.

DP 04 76 12 02 Endorsement Features

This endorsement changes coverage to Replacement Cost Value (RCV).
