This Acceptable Usage Policy outlines how Quizgecko should be used responsibly and fairly. When you sign up, you agree to follow these guidelines in addition to our Terms of Service. Both policies must be accepted and followed to use Quizgecko.

Quizgecko aims to support your learning and work by offering access to various educational materials and connecting you with other users. We strive to provide useful study resources while respecting intellectual property rights and encouraging proper use. This includes both using existing content and generating new materials through our AI-powered tools.

We require our users to maintain honesty and integrity. If we find that you've used our site to cheat or take credit for someone else's work, breaking your organization's rules, we'll close your account.

Acceptable Use:

• Use Quizgecko's quiz questions, flashcards and other study content to test yourself and improve your understanding of materials
• Follow your organization's policies about using external resources
• Check Quizgecko's answers against trusted sources to verify their correctness
• Get help from Quizgecko resources when allowed by your organization
• Share materials you've made yourself
• Use content you've created with Quizgecko on your own website, learning management system, or other platforms when you are the content creator

Prohibited Actions:

• Claim ownership of materials created by others
• Submit Quizgecko-sourced answers as your own without proper attribution
• Use our platform for assignments when external resources are not allowed
• Engage in activities that go against your organization's integrity policies

Always follow your organization's integrity guidelines and respect your organization's rules concerning the usage of study assistance platforms such as Quizgecko and AI-powered tools.

Fair Usage

While we offer unlimited usage on some of our paid plans, this is defined as individual usage within reasonable bounds that accommodates approximately 95% of our users' needs. This policy exists to prevent automated abuse and ensure a quality experience for all users.

Usage Limits & Rate Limiting

To maintain system stability, we implement dynamic rate limiting on a per-minute, per-hour, and per-month basis. If your usage significantly exceeds typical patterns, we may automatically throttle or limit your account. These limits are flexible - if you haven't used the product much in the previous hour or month, you'll have a higher allowance.

Account Sharing & API Usage

• Account sharing or reselling access is strictly prohibited and violates our terms of service, potentially resulting in immediate account termination without refund
• If your account has been limited due to suspected automated abuse, you may contact us to discuss your usage patterns
• The API plans have separate, clearly defined monthly rate limits based on your subscription tier and are never unlimited.
• Higher-tier plans, particularly our Organization plans, receive priority access with higher rate limits and faster processing speeds
