Establishment and Naming of JTJMNHS: \- Despite initial resistance due to the school's purpose of catering exclusively to children of plantation workers, JTJMNHS was established in 1970 following discussions between HPI management and the municipal council. It was named after Jose Tuason Jr., a former Hijo Plantation president and stockholder. 3\. Velasco led the initial administration and staff, including ten teachers with diverse specializations. 5\. Fire Incident and School Reconstruction: \- In 1990, a fire destroyed school buildings and records at the Camp Cogon site, leading to the rebuilding efforts spearheaded by Principal Mr. Teodorico S. Caballero with support from Schools Division Superintendent Prudencio N. Mabanglo. 7\. Relocation and Presidential Proclamation: \- Following standard procedures, the school relocated to Sitio Katipunan, Bo. Madaum, Tagum, on a land area acquired through Presidential Proclamation 801 s.1991 signed by former President Corazon C. Aquino in 1991. 8\.
