Information and Communications Technology 4 Study Note no. 5 Second Quarter Learning Competencies: The learners effectively apply presentation skills to create presentations. Creative Presentation Elements: Word Art, Images, Animations, and Transitions How to resize, rotate, and change the colors of Word Art and images in Google Slides: Resizing Word Art and Images: Making Word Art Bigger or Smaller: Click on the Word Art you want to change. Look for the small squares on the corners and sides. Click on a corner and drag it outward to make it bigger or inward to make it smaller. Changing the Size of Images: Click on the image you want to resize. Find the small squares on the corners and sides. Click on a corner and drag it to make the image bigger or smaller. Rotating Word Art and Images: Turning Word Art: Click on the Word Art to select it. Look for a little circle above the Word Art. Click and drag this circle to turn the Word Art in any direction you want. Spinning Images: Click on the image to select it. Find the little circle above the image. Click and drag this circle to spin the image around. Changing Colors of Word Art and Images: Coloring Word Art: Click on the Word Art to select it. Look at the top where you'll find colors like red, blue, etc. Click on a color to change the Word Art's color. Altering Image Colors: Unfortunately, we can't directly change the colors of images in Google Slides. But we can choose images with colors we like. Applying Animations: Making Things Move: Click on what you want to animate, like Word Art or an image. Go to the "Slide" menu at the top of the screen. Choosing How it Moves: Click on "Transition" in the menu that appears. You'll see different options, like "Fade", "Slide from left", "Grow", etc. These are how your Word Art or image will move or appear on the slide. Seeing the Effect: Click on one of the options, and you'll see a preview of how it will look. Choose the one you like best! Discussing Animation Effects: Fade: The element gradually appears or disappears like it's fading in or out. Slide from Left/Right/Top/Bottom: The element slides onto the slide from the chosen direction. Grow/Shrink: The element appears to grow bigger or smaller. Spin: The element spins into view. Fly in from Left/Right/Top/Bottom: The element flies in from the chosen direction. None: No animation.
