Imaging Test. 1. Computed Tomography (CT) Scan: i. To quickly identify fractures, bleeding, swelling, or other brain injuries. ii. Fast & effective for acute head injury. 2. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI): i. To provide detailed images of brain tissue and identify smaller injuries, such as contusions or diffuse axonal injury. ii. More detailed than a CT scan, useful for diagnosing long-term brain injury. 3. Skull X-ray. Neurological Test. 1. To assess cognitive function, including memory, attention, problem- solving, & language skills. 2. Helps in understanding the extent of cognitive impairment & planning rehabilitation.
