Definitions of Emergency Nursing is a specialty within the field of professional nursing focusing on the care of patients who require urgent/immediate & prompt medical attention to avoid long-term disability or death. deals with human responses to any trauma or sudden illness that requires immediate intervention to prevent imminent severe damage or death. Definitions of Emergency Nursing involves the episodic (primary care until the definitive is provided) care of people of all ages with physical and/or psychological health problems. Safety Measures to Overcome Violence in the Emergency Department 1) Limit access to the department. 2) Metal detectors. Common 3) Visitor’s policy with visitor passes or Issues in badges.
