July 29, 2024 **DR. GABRIEL M. SALISTRE JR.** SUC President III This University Sir: Greetings! The Academic Year 2024-2025 is fast approaching. It is with great regret to inform you that several students from the Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies (BAEL) 3-A had grades below the standard requirement for their [ELS 199 Language Research 1: Methodology], rendering their enrollment for R2 invalid. In concern, students from the program, Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies, would like to request your **permission to allow** their program coordinator/adviser for BAEL, Mrs. Maria Elena Villa, approval for special classes to resolve their insufficient pre-requisite for the Research 2 project for the following reasons: i. The entirety of the students are upcoming 4^th^ year students under the BAEL program, meaning that their graduation will be this academic year; ii. The students desire to graduate on the same year and condition as their peers, which is why despite the extra load, we request the special class; iii. A majority of the students have only failed this class out of every other course, with others even retaining high marks. iv. An extension of one (1) year to resume in school is succinctly resource-consuming, especially for students that have parents working below-minimum or bare-minimum wage. Hence, with all due respect, the fourteen students of BAEL 3-A, along with our signatures, request your permission to allow special classes for our RESEARCH 1: Methodology Course so we can graduate with our peers, rightfully.
