My role model Everyone modelers are poison whose behavior example or success is copied by others especially by younger people. Role models usually have personal qualities or character traits that both attract others and influence their thoughts values and behaviors. Role models can be people we know well or people who are distant. Sometimes I role model is different from what we would expect. For example a bar may have his female teacher as his role model or a girl could have her father or big brother as a role model Peer Pressure Peer pressure is a influence that friends or people who are similar age have on you which many encourage you to change your attitudes values or behavior. Sometimes there\'s pressure can lead to young people to experiment the risky activities and behaviors they might not otherwise consider such as using drugs fighting carrying a weapon engaging in sexual activities causing or swearing and destroying other people\'s property. Sometimes people influence others through social media websites on the internet this is called online peer pressure Listening Active listening requires you to listen attentively to a speaker, understand what they\'re saying, respond and reflect on what\'s being said, and retain the information for later Passive listening is listening without reacting: allowing someone to speak, without interrupting. Not doing anything else at the same time, and yet not really paying attention to what\'s being said Coping with emotions - Different situations cause us to have many different feelings - Sometimes we have positive feelings and at other times we have negative feelings these feelings can affect our relationship with others - It\'s important to understand these feelings and learn how to manage them - You can develop skills that will help you to cope with difficult feelings and situations - When you imagine what life is like for another person and feel how they must be feeling that is called empathizing with that person
