The Key Advantage Of A Word Processor Is Its Ability To Make Changes Easily, Such As Correcting Spelling, Adding, Deleting, Formatting, And Relocating Text. Once Created, The Document Can Be Printed Quickly And Accurately Saved For Later Modifications. Use A Desktop Shortcut If Ms. Word On The Desktop: 1.1 Double Left-Click(The Fastest Way For Already-Created Documents). 1. 2 Right-click a Word Document And Left-Click To Open Ms. Word. 3. Write (Ms. Word or W) into the search box, located at the down of the Screen. Click Ms. in the list that appears, This Will Open The Ms. Word. 4. Step (a) Go To The Start Menu located at the down of the Screen. Step (b) Left-click the Start Menu. Step (c) Click The All Programs Option From The Menu. Step (d) Search For Microsoft Office From The Sub-Menu And Click It. Step (D) Search For Microsoft Word From The Submenu And Click It. 5. Right-click on an empty area of the Windows desktop. Hover the mouse pointer over "New" in the menu that appears. Click “Shortcut." Type or copy and paste "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\WINWORD.EXE" into the box. Click "Next." Type "Word" into the box and click "Finish." Double-click the Word shortcut that appears on the desktop to launch Word. Note: Ruler Scroll Bars Appear When You Have More Than A Screen's Worth Of Information. Scroll Bars: the Scroll Bars Allow You to Move Left To Right Or Up And Down. A. Vertical Scroll Bar: Moves The Window Up Or Down. The Horizontal Ruler Appears Just Beneath The Ribbon And Is Used To Set Margins And Tab Stops. B. Horizontal Scroll Moves The Window from Left To Right. The Vertical Ruler Appears On The Left Edge Of The Word Window And Is Used To Gauge The Vertical Position Of Elements On The Page. R. OR ✓Go To The View Tab. ✓Click On The View Menu ✓ Select The Ruler Box, Then Click Beside Ruler. The Group Of Five Buttons Located To The Left Of The Zoom Control, Near The Bottom Of The Screen, allows you to Switch Among Word's Various Document Views. You can change Among Word's Various Document Views Quickly. Microsoft Word gives you five different views of a document (Shown down, Left To Right Order): 1. Print Layout view: This displays pages exactly as they will appear when printed. 2. Full-Screen Reading view: This gives a full-screen view of the document, In an Easy Format. 3. Web Layout view: This shows how a document appears when viewed by a Web browser, such as Internet Explorer. 4. Outline view: Displays Headings And Texts In Outline Form So You Can See The Structure Of Your Document And Reorganize Easily, using Word standard heading styles. 5. Draft view: This formats text as it appears on the printed page (Displays Only The Text Of A Document) with a few exceptions.
