Aerobics It is a system of physical conditioning to enhance circulatory and respiratory efficiency that involves vigorous, sustained exercise such as: Aerobic Exercises Jogging Running Hiking Dancing Swimming Cycling Aerobics Aerobics stimulates and strengthens the heart and lungs, improving the body’s oxygen utilization. Aerobics This exercise, sometimes known as “cardio” exercise, requires pumping oxygenated blood by the heart to deliver oxygen to working muscles. Benefits of doing aerobic exercises Improve Cardiovascular Conditioning Decrease Risk of Heart Disease Lower Blood Pressure Increase HDL (Good) Cholesterol Levels Help Control Blood Sugar Assist in Weight Management or Loss Improve Lung Function Cardiovascular Exercise We all know that to keep our muscles in shape, we need to move them. This movement makes our muscles stronger and our bodies more efficient and healthier. Cardiovascular Fitness is the ability of the heart, blood cells, and lungs to supply oxygen-rich blood to the working muscle tissues and the ability of the muscles to use oxygen to produce energy for movement. This can be attained by doing cardiovascular exercises. Cardiovascular Exercise is any exercise that raises your heart rate and keeps it up for a prolonged period. Cardiovascular Exercise It uses large muscles like the biceps and triceps of the upper arms and the quadriceps, hamstrings These muscles may be developed and strengthened through aerobics and other activities.
