**Flag and Heraldic Code of Philippines (RA 8491)** An act prescribing the code of the national flag, anthem, motto, coat-of-arms, and other heraldic items and devices of the Philippines.\ \ **Reverence and Respect shall at all times be accorded the:\ **\ A. Flag B. National Anthem\ C. And other national symbol\ \ **The Symbolism of the Philippine Flag:** **White-** Stands for peace and purity\ \ **White triangle-** Stands for equality and the Katipunan organization.\ \ **Three Stars-** Represents the Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.\ \ **Sun-** Represents the independence and its eight rays represents the eight provinces who led the uprising against Spanish rule.\ \ The 8 rays of the sun of the flag symbolizes the provinces of Manila, Cavite, Bulacan, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, and Batangas. The latter group were the first to be replaced under Martial Law by Spain when the Philippine Revolution begun. **Blue-** Stands for patriotism and justice.\ \ **Red-** Stands for valor and the blood split freedom and independence.\ \ **Section 5:** The flag shall be displayed in all public buildings, official residence, Public Plazas, and Institutions of learning every day throughout the year.\ \ **Section 10:** The flag, if flown from a flagpole, shall have its blue field on top in time of peace and the red field on top in times of war; if in a hanging position, the blue field shall be to the right (left of the observer) in time of peace, and the red field to the right (left of the observer) in time of war. **Section 24:** The flag may be used to cover caskets of the honored dead; 1\. And it kills 55 Filipinos everyday.\ \ Hindi lamang mga tao ang na a-naapektuhan ng hinding malinis na tubig kasama din dito ang mga halaman at mga hayop.\ \ Ang mga tao ang dahilan kung bakit na ko-kontamina ang tubig dahil ito sa pag tatapon ng mga basura kasama na dito ang mga chemical waste na kumakalat sa mga anyong tubig tulad ng ilog, dagat, sapa at iba pa.\ \ **First Aid and Basic Life Support:**\ \ **First Aid-** Is immediate help provided to a sick or injured person until professional help arrives or becomes available.\ \ **Basic Life Support-** Are emergency procedures that consist of recognizing respiratory or cardiac arrest or both and the proper application of CPR to maintain life until a victim recovers or advanced life support available.\ \ **Scope and Limitation-** First Aid does not imply medical treatment and is by no means a replacement for it.\ \ **According to the Article 12 No. 4 of Act No. 3815 Philippine Revised Penal Code Book One\ \ ***"Any person who, while performing a lawful act with due care causes an injury by mere accident without fault or intention of causing it."* Is exempted in criminal liability\ \ **According to Article 275 No. 1 and 2 Act of No. 3815 of the Philippine Revised Penal Code Book Two\ \ ***"Abandonment of person in danger and abandonment of one own's victim"\ \ *1. Anyone who shall fail to render assistance to any person whom he shall in an uninhabited place wounded or in danger of dying, when he can render such assistance without detriment to himself, unless such omission shall constitute a more serious offense. 2\. Anyone who shall fail to help or render assistance to another whom he has accidentally wounded or injured. **Responsibilities of First Aider** Save the conscious casualties before the unconscious ones as they have a higher chance of recovery.\ \ Save the young before the old.\ \ Do not jeopardize your own life while rendering First Aid.In the event of immediate danger, get out of site immediately.\ \ Remember: One of your aims is to preserve life, and not endanger your own in the process of rendering first aid.(Ibig sabihin nito ay mas isipin ang kaligtasan mo bilang first aider upang mas makapag perform ka pa ng first aid sa ibang tao).\ \ To arrange for the casualty's removal to hospital or into the care of a doctor.\ \ To remain with a casualty until appropriate care is available.\ \ To report your observation to those taking care of the casualty, and to give further assistance if required.
