Hip joint stability Static stabilizers (Passive structures): -Acetabular Labrum & transverse acetabular ligament. -Strong capsule -Ligaments: Iliofemoral, Pubofemoral, Ischiofemoral, Ligamentum Teres Dynamic stabilizers: muscles and myofascial tissue Acetabular Labrum Wedge-shaped fibrocartilage Serves to deepen the socket and icnreases the concavity of the acetabulum.
