Administrative Divisions in India: Concept of Administrative Divisions of India, Zones Wise Administrative Divisions of India, Cultural zones of India, States Wise Administrative Divisions of India, Divisions of States and Union Territories in India. 4. Biogeographic zone of India: Definition, Types, Diversity. Module 2 Cultural and Social Diversity in India (15 Hours) 1. Diversity of Languages and Dialects; Languages in India, Scheduled and Non-scheduled languages, India’s Linguistic Diversity, Official Language of the Union, Commission, and Committee of Parliament on Official Language, Recommendations of the Official Language Commission, regional Languages, Protection of Endangered Languages in India, Homogenization of the dialects of Hindi. 2.
