Even though Namibia is a big country, it has a small population and many tourists come here to enjoy the wide open spaces. NAMIBIA Fish River Canyon Fish River The Fish River Canyon is the second-largest canyon in the world. Only the Grand Canyon in America is bigger. Canyon Located in Southern Namibia, about 570km from the Capital, Windhoek. There are several lodges and campsites in the area. Why a tourist attraction? The canyon is close to the South African border that people can stay in towns like Springbok or Pofadder and visit the canyon as a day trip.
